It is with deep regret I wish to let you know of the passing of Bob Bates who was the General Secretary.

This happened very suddenly on 8 November 2021.

Affiliation Cards are being printed for 2022. Please let me know your requirements

If you go to www.gov.uk then follow the site 'Businesses and selfemployed' followed by 'Getting financial help and keeping your business safe'.  If you then follow 'Funding and support' this leads to 'support for businesses affected by coronavirus.  If you go to the last item 'Check if eligible for Christmas support'.  You may find you are eligible to apply for £1,000.

A number of clubs have recently experienced problems where the alarm contacts, usually on their external doors, have been tampered with.  When the club then comes to set the alarm at the close of business it doesn't set properly.  The thieves then return later and break into the premises in the knowledge that the external bells will not sound and the central monitoring stations will not be notified.  Your insurance policy will normally contain an Alarm Warraty and without an adequately set alarm any theft claim is unlikely to be paid.

Third time lucky, we hope,  because of the Coronavirus we have unfortunately had to CANCEL the Conference for 2021. However we have now arranged for Conference 2022 and that will now be held on the weekend  25-28 March 2022 once again at The Elgin Hotel in Blackpool.  The cost of the weekend will be £155 per person for bed, breakfast and evening meal plus evening entertainment. It is an opportunity for like minded people to meet together and find out how other clubs are being run.
